Our center had a positive result with using a carbon-fiber AFO combined with a custom foot orthosis to manage the ankle pain in an adolescent male with severe ankle joint arthopathy secondary to joint bleeding. Has anyone else tried this type of bracing or perhaps something similar that they would like to share? We have 1-year follow-up data on this child, does anyone have longer data on a similar intervention?
